Have you heard of the nationwide program where kids get to bowl two free games per day all summer long? If you haven’t signed your kids up for the Kids Bowl Free program, I recommend you register now. It’s super easy and did I mention FREE?! It takes a few minutes to enter your information and then you will receive an email with the free bowling certificates. Once a week these certificates will be emailed to you.
For the past five summers, we’ve participated in this program. My children look forward to their bowling adventures all summer long! It’s a great rainy day activity or an opportunity for active family fun.

Visit Kids Bowling and find your state and locations that the program is offered near you. Be sure to read the restrictions, times and what is offered at each bowling alley as things are different for each business. There’s also an option to add on a family pass for adults (the price varies based on the discount they offer at the time) but it’s usually around $25 for up to 4 adults to receive the 2 games all summer long. Columbus Area Alleys with Free Bowling
We visit the Plain City Bowling location and love it. It’s an older style alley that’s smaller than many that we’ve been to in the area, but it’s perfect for kids. They have a few ramps kids can use and bumpers so even the little ones have the possibility of getting a strike.
The pizza is really good and affordable. And, right next door is Der Dutchman so if you are craving yummy treats be sure to stop on over to their bakery.
Bowling shoe rentals are not included in this deal, but at the Plain City Lanes, it’s only $2.50 each for the shoes. For a total of $5.00, my kids enjoy two full games of bowling which is a great deal!
