The MOMS Club of Lewis Center North chapter is a support group for stay-at- home moms and moms that work part-time who are looking to connect with other area moms. MOMS Club is a great way to network with other moms, voice opinions, discuss topics of interest, and give you the opportunity to share activities with other at-home mothers while providing your children a chance to form friendships with other at-home children. We have various activities throughout the month: playgroups, crafts, holiday parties, discussion groups, a monthly meeting and a monthly Mom’s Night Out. We also have various service projects throughout the year from collecting school supplies for children in need to donating to local charitable organizations; we support the community we live in. There truly is something for everyone.

The main playground of Mingo Park is under construction (as of July 2020) but the sign said it would be opening in May 2020.
Although the bigger equipment isn’t open, there’s still a slide, swings, little kid area and a few other things to do. The park had lots of shade under the kiddie area and trees in the lawn area where people were having picnics.

Inspired by great fresh ingredients, our small neighborhood bakery on a corner in downtown Chicago began creating artisan breads and freshly baked sweets. Our care is beneficial for pregnant women in that it helps maintain the structures and biomechanics of the mother’s hips and pelvis. Chiropractic care has been shown to help the pregnant woman be much more comfortable throughout the pregnancy. Research has also shown that women under care before, and during their pregnancy have decreased labor pain and shorter labor time.
We also encourage parents to bring in their kids as early as possible because the birth process can be so traumatic on the babies head and neck, we want to make sure we get children checked for any interferences in the nervous system communication. This neck strain during birth can lead to slight misalignments of the child’s upper neck and that can be detrimental to the health and development of the child if it is not addressed by a pediatric chiropractor.
