Columbus Farmers’ Markets


This year farmers’ markets are looking much different than in the past! There are numerous changes to all market structures. Be sure to check back often for updates as we find out about them below. It’s still so important to continue to support our local farms so that they can continue to provide for the communities.

Farmers’ Markets in Columbus:


North Market

Monday and Tuesday- Closed
Wednesday- 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Thursday- 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Friday- 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Saturday- 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sunday- 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

North Market was established in 1876 and has more than 30 merchant shops set up inside selling a wide variety of items from organic produce, cheeses, meats and more. Additionally, North Market’s surface parking lot will return to regular operation on Saturday, June 6, 2020.

The Village Farm Market

Open late May through October.

Wednesday- Closed
Weekdays- 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday- 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sunday- 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Here you will find farm fresh produce, Young’s Dairy ice cream and local Ohio products.

Pearl Market

10:30 a.m. -2:00 p.m. on Tuesdays (and Fridays) from May 22, 2020 and running through October. You’ll find food items and hand-crafted merchandise. The 2020 location is Gay Street and Pearl Alley. They are offering curbside pickup, in person shopping, and pedestrian pickup.

Upper Arlington

4:00-7:00 p.m (May 20-September 30, 2020). The Get Fresh Upper Arlington Farmers Market is scheduled to operate every Wednesday from 4-7 pm from May 20-September 30, rain or shine, at the Tremont Pool parking lot adjacent to Northam Park.

4:00-7:00 p.m. (May through July 31 at least). The farmers’ market has relocated to Capital University in Lot S2.

New Albany

4:00-7:00 p.m. (June 25-September 10, 2020) at Market Square

When: Thursdays from 4-7 pm from June 25th to September 10th. 4:00-4:30 elderly (age 60 and above) and vulnerable population only. From 4:30-7:00 open to the general public (please only 2 family members per household) Where: *NEW LOCATION* New Albany Church of the Resurrection parking lot (6300 Dublin-Granville Road). What to expect: – This will be a walk-up market – An entry and exit will be clearly marked on the east side of the Ministry Center – please only enter and exit through this area – Hand sanitizer will be available to the public (donated by High Bank Distillery) – Masks are mandatory for vendors and food truck operators – Masks are strongly encouraged for customers – Vendor stands will be a minimum of 6 feet apart – There will be a limit of 150 customers at a given time in the market venue – Only two members of a given household may shop the market at one time – Reusable shopping bags are restricted to use by customers only (vendors can only use disposable bags and containers) – Food preparation and samples will not be allowed on site

Plain City

4:30-7:00 p.m.  They do intend to start the market this year. The market starts in July 2020 and will continue on Thursdays through October. The market is located in downtown Plain City, off of S. Chillicothe Street.

Opening day of the summer season will be on Thursday, June 4, 2020 from 4-7 p.m., located at JFK Park 7232 East Main St.  Markets will be held every Thursday until September 3.

After extensive research, discussions and guidance from markets around the country, we are excited to announce a reimagined, socially-distance appropriate Clintonville Farmers’ Market. Join us for our pre-order only, drive thru market Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Ohio History Connection. All purchases can be made through an online marketplace and picked up without leaving your vehicle. The only person that will handle your food before it is placed directly into your trunk will be the farmer or producer that made it. It runs until November 21, 2020.

For social distancing purposes, the market will take place in the Granville High School parking lot, located at 248 New Burg St, for the month of May.

· As an extra precaution for our more vulnerable populations the 8:30 – 9:30 am time window will be reserved for persons aged 60 and older – as well as individuals who may have underlying health conditions and vulnerabilities.

Grove City

The Market will still be located in Grove City’s Historic Town Center but instead of on the streets it will be held in the parking lot behind the businesses on Broadway between Park Street west of Broadway and Grant Avenue. 

They are adding new vendors so keep checking back. Ordering is open NOW!!!

During the growing season, the farmers market takes place outside on the outdoor market plaza on Saturday starting June 6, 2020.

Maureen Ingham
Maureen Ingham has enjoyed living in the great city of Columbus for nearly 13 years! Originally from Canton, Ohio, Maureen attended Ohio University and will always be a bobcat at heart! After completing her education degree in Athens, she made her way to The Ohio State University to obtain a Masters degree in Special Education. She fell in love with Columbus then and convinced her now husband to join her in this awesome city! She taught 5th grade for 6 years, before deciding to stay home to raise two beautiful girls. Their family has recently moved to Worthington with their two girls and are excited to plant their roots here! Their first daughter, Maeve is 6 and her sister, Reese will soon be 5 years old. They welcomed a son, Miles in March 2020. Maureen has been with The Columbus Moms Blog since the beginning and now enjoys working on editing and events for the blog. She also works as a Postpartum Doula with her sister at a company called Together Wee Grow. They provide night nursing services, as well as daytime support to local families and babies in Columbus. It is a wonderful job to work along her sister and help families with their precious little ones in a vulnerable time period. In between the night shifts, sweeping up crumbs, exploring Columbus, and getting kids to where they need to be, Maureen enjoys working out, trying new recipes and restaurants, traveling, spending time with family, being crafty and trying to help others whenever she can! Maureen has many Columbus favorites. Her go-to restaurant is Third and Hollywood, she enjoys a sweet treat at Sassafrass Bakery or Fox in the Snow, a slice of pizza at Dewey's Pizza and a warm cup of joe at Highline Coffee. A perfect Saturday involves an outdoor activity with her family and trying a new restaurant when they can! She is excited to be a part of an excellent team here at Columbus Moms blog and hopes to be able to inspire mothers that small acts of kindness go a long way in raising their kids and the city they live in!
