Sugar Cookies

Orange and White Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

This fun cookie is a family recipe from one of our Columbus Mom’s Blog writers. It is a classic holiday cookie for her family and she is excited to share with our readers: 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1.5 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup craisins
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 orange zest

Directions:

  1. Mix flour, soda, salt and rolled oats. Cut in butter until mixture is well blended. Stir in milk and sugar. Add chips, craisins and orange zest.
  2. Roll into balls and slightly flatten on an un-greased baking sheet.
  3. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes.
