It’s been a hot summer here in Ohio. And I’ve been itching for that crisp fall weather. Fall is my favorite season and there’s nowhere else I’d like to spend it than here in Ohio. Today was the first day that felt like fall and there was nowhere else I would have wanted to spend my day.
There are so many fall activities to choose from that sometimes it can be hard deciding what to do or where to go. Which is one of the reasons I LOVED visiting Leeds Farm for some fall family fun! They have SO MANY activities – it’s truly a one-stop shop to get a taste of everything that makes autumn in Ohio so wonderful.
Visiting Leeds Farm – Know Before You Go
The farm is located in Ostrander, Ohio which is about 30-40 minutes from Columbus. They have enough farm and fun activities to keep your family moving all day, including hayrides, feeding farm animals, Pumpkin Jumps, a John Deere combine slide, mountain slides, zip lines, rolling tubes, straw forts, pig races, pedal carts, a trike track, and pumpkins.
A pre-purchased ticket is required for every guest aged 3+. And you can visit www.LeedsFarm.com for details and to purchase tickets. Leeds farm is open six weekends only from 10-5 starting September 17th, 2022 and is located at 8738 Marysville Road, Ostrander. They will be open until October 29, 2022 and one Friday this year- October 14, 2022.

There is an onsite cafe where you can purchase hot dogs, chili, chicken sandwiches, soft pretzels, or nachos. They also have lots of baked goods available like donuts, cookies, and several types of pie!
You are also welcome to bring your own food and the farm has plenty of tables to sit and enjoy a picnic.
Visiting Leeds Farm – So Many Activities!
My family spent 4 hours exploring the farm and still didn’t get a chance to do everything. There was SO much to do and see! This was my first time at the farm and I had no idea it was so large.
The first thing my daughter wanted to do was feed the goats. Little cups of feed are available to purchase for $1 (you need to bring cash) and she had so much fun hand feeding the friendly little goats.

She was a bit nervous at first.
But the goats were so friendly and gentle, she quickly got into the groove of feeding them by hand.
Next up was tubing. She had fun being pushed around in the large tube, and my husband said it was a great workout!
She also had fun rolling herself around in the tube.
They had a cute little “Holstein Hustle” ride – basically a little train of cars that were pulled by a tractor. So much fun!
The highlight for my little one was the “Pumpkin Jump” – which was a large inflatable for kids to jump around on. They had some pretty amazing music playing and she had fun dancing and jumping. As a parent, I really appreciated that they had two separate areas for kids to jump and they kept the younger kids on a different inflatable than the older kids/adults.
Next to the “Pumpkin Jump” they had a Combine Slide. She had so much fun sliding down and climbing back up that we hung out here for a solid 30 minutes.
Since Leeds Farm is so large and has SO many activities available, there were never any long lines or a long wait between turns.
The pedal carts were great because if your little one is too small to pedal, they can be pushed from behind!
Next up was the tractor ride!
Our tractor driver was great! He pointed out all the critters on our drive. Keep your eyes peeled for some cute surprises!
The “Grainery” was really cute – it was basically a large sandbox, but instead of sand, the box was filled with dried corn!
It was almost time to go, and we wanted to end the day with a treat. When we went to the North Barn where the cafe is located, we were surprised to see they had another slide inside! I guess we have time for ONE MORE turn at the slide!
We ended our visit with one of their delicious pumpkin sugar cookies. What a perfect ending to a fun day at Leeds Farm!
