Growing up my Mom was famous for dressing the family in coordinating outfits. My sister and I would oblige (somewhat begrudgingly I’m sure…sorry Mom!). As we grew older we would laugh and poke fun of the snapshots of the matching outfits that filled picture frames throughout our childhood home. I swore I would never coordinate with my kids.
And then I became a Mom. Now all I want to do is find an excuse to coordinate, or better yet twin, with my daughter. There is something so fun about Mommy daughter matching outfits. We even coordinate with Daddy from time to time. Perhaps it’s because I know I won’t be able to get away with it forever. I know that someday soon my daughter will likely roll her eyes as I attempt to plan her outfits.
But for now, I will take it and run with it! Retailers offer so many stylish and fun options when it comes to matching or coordinating with the family. Many companies are jumping on the coordination bandwagon. Better yet, around the holidays, many even offer great deals on their apparel too!

It is so convenient and easy to shop online these days. Here is a list of larger nationwide retailers that also offer matching or coordinating outfits for parents and children.
Matching outfits don’t have to be expensive. There are plenty of ways to save. If you aren’t in a hurry, you can shop around and compare prices. I recommend getting on mailing lists for any retailers that you are interested in, as they will send you alerts when there are specials and deals as well as coupons. Following retailers on social media (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram) will also allow you to be up-to-date on current offers and promotions.
For larger retailers you can also use sights Slick Deals or like Camel Camel Camel (specifically for Amazon) in order to track and compare prices for specific items. You can also shop larger retailers through Ebates for cash back.
Wherever you end up shopping, I hope that you find what you’re looking for and have a blast making memories and coordinating with your loved ones! After all, coordinating with the family never goes out of style in my book!
