November is here! November is a month full of gratitude and we hope you can find some joy throughout this month and be with those you are thankful for in your life! From craft markets, to outdoor events, along with Veterans Day and Thanksgiving activities, this month is full of fun!

November 1 and 3: Toddler Time at Get Air: 10:00 a.m. – Noon | Special time set for your little ones! All Tuesdays and Thursdays!

November 2: Friends Play Free at Play CBUS: Every Wednesday, buy two admissions and get one free for a friend!

November 3: Cocktails at the Conservatory: 80’s throwback theme!

November 3-20: Indecent: Various times at Riffe Center | Inspired by the controversy surrounding the play God of Vengeance by Sholem Asch, which was produced on Broadway in 1923.

November 4: Teen Night: 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. | Come to the Westerville Community Center for a night of fun!

Through November 6: RENT: Various times | Presented at the Short North Stage!

November 5: Home Depot Kids DIY Workshop: Make a scarecrow napkin holder this month! 

November 5: Worthington Farmers’ Market Indoor: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | The market moves inside to the Shops at Worthington Place!

November 5: Holly Day Bazaar: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in Westerville | Juried Craft & Art event ~ held for the 33rd year! Join in shopping, holiday spirit, lunch, secret Santa, 25+ silent auction-themed baskets, & live piano music. $1 entrance includes a raffle ticket.

November 5: Dia De Los Muertos: Regular hours at Columbus Museum of Art| Celebrate the rich origins of Día de los Muertos at CMA with day-long offerings to connect, and honor our loved ones who have departed. Enjoy $5 admission for members all day; children 3 and under are free.

November 5: Dirty Dancing in Concert: 8:00 p.m. | Come have the time of your life again!

October 28 through November 5: Dracula: Showing at the Davidson Theater, put on by Balletmet!

November 6: Veteran’s Day Parade: 2:00 p.m. in Hilliard | Special celebration in Hilliard for our Veterans.

November 6: Free Community Days: Come out to the Franklin Park Conservatory for a free Sunday!

November 6: Kidslinked Stem and Arts Expo at Polaris Mall: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. | Everything education from competitions, resources, hands on items, products and so much more to help your child’s education growth. It will be fun!

November 8: Toddlers in Nature: Colors of Fall: 10:00 a.m. | Gather in New Albany for a morning of fun and adventure!

November 8: Election Day Skate: 12:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. | Come skate while the kids are off after you vote!

November 8: Mania: The Abba Tribute: Showing at the Riffe Center!

November 11: Veterans Day Breakfast: 8:30 a.m. | Free to Veterans and $5 for the general public. Breakfast is followed by a presentation and then a dedication at 11:00 a.m.

November 11: Veterans Day Celebration: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | The Veterans Memorial Committee of Gahanna will host an observance and memorial brick dedication from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, 73 W. Johnstown Road.

November 11: Veterans Day Dublin: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Honors all veterans! The Grounds of Remembrance in Dublin Veterans Park is located at 77 N. High Street just north of the Dublin Library. Free parking is available in the Indian Run and Darby Street parking lots, or the Library garage.

November 12: Harvest Market at Bridge Park: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Shop handpicked vendors to fill your bag with fall and seasonal favorites. Enjoy fresh produce, sweet treats, live entertainment, a caramel apple building station and more at the Harvest Market.

November 12: Mom and Me for Tea: 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. | Attend a semiformal tea and fashion show with mom or other favorite adult. Wear your favorite party attire or school (preschool) outfit and get ready for an enjoyable morning filled with games, special party favors and a tea party with mini finger foods and sweets. The morning will be topped off with a fashion show featuring all of our party guests. Parents/adults will be asked to write a description of their child’s outfit upon arrival.

November 12: Teen Night at Columbus Museum of Art: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Free drop in program for teens!

November 16-23

November 17-19: Christmas Corner: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Friday and 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at The Franklin County Fairgrounds | Free admission and 65 holiday craft booths! Three days again this year!

November 17-19: Mamma Mia: Put on by the New Albany High School!

November 17: Spy Ninjas Live: 7:00 p.m. at Palace Theater | The Spy Ninjas are coming to Columbus, OH to meet YOU in real life! Famous YouTubers Chad Wild Clay & Vy Qwaint are searching for the next Spy Ninja to join their team!

November 18: Ohio Made Market: 10:00 a.m. at The Hollywood Casino | Local Artisans will be teaming up to create a safe event for wonderful handmade market items this holiday season.

November 18: Butch Bando’s Lights Drive-Thru: 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Sunday- Thursday and 5:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday | This amazing drive-thru event returns this month!

November 18: Easton Tree Lighting: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. | Kick off the holiday season… the Easton way! Festivities will begin at 6 pm around the Center and continue throughout the evening with live music, fun for the family, costumed characters and more bringing holiday cheer! No matter where you are, take your eyes to the sky at 7 pm and watch as over two-million lights simultaneously illuminate Easton for the season.

November 17: Wildlights Member Preview Night: If you are a member of the Columbus Zoo, come out early for a special night!

November 18- January 1: Wildlights at The Zoo: Check the website for times at The Columbus Zoo | You need to add this to your family traditions if you haven’t already!

November 18- January 2: Holiday Lights at The Columbus Commons: Dusk- 11:00 p.m. | Be sure to check their website for updates on a date for this free dazzling light show!

November 19: All Ohio Reptile Show: 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. at The Franklin County Fairgrounds | Come to see your favorite reptiles!

November 19-20: Descendants: The Musical: Performing at the Abby Theater: Tickets are $10!

November 20: Not Your Mama’s Holiday In Person Craft Market # 1: 11:00 a.m. at The Exchange at Bridge Park | The best handmade businesses will be joining for this indoor/outdoor market with food trucks, a bar, photo booth, and amazing makers.

November 20- January 8: Franklin Park Conservatory Aglow: 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. | Come to see the brilliant lights all throughout the Conservatory and Children’s Garden this year! Please see their website as special rates apply and times this year for members as the aglow event begins at 5:00 p.m.

November 20: New Albany Tree Lighting: 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. | Festive music, carriage rides, cookie decorating and so much more at this holiday event!

November 20: Holiday Lights Celebration in Gahanna: 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. in Gahanna | The excitement of Gahanna’s Holiday Lights Celebration begins with family-friendly events that include a live reindeer petting zoo, horse‑drawn carriage rides, crafts, games and activities, bands and more!

November 23: Sweet Turkeys at The Franklin Park Conservatory: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. | Make Turkey Themed Sweet Treats! Reservations are required.

November 23: CocoMelon Live: 6:00 p.m. at The Palace Theater | Come see JJ and Friends Live!

November 23-January 1: Magic of Lights: New drive-through light event this year at Historic Crew Stadium. Price varies depending on when you purchase.

November 24-30

November 24: Flying Feather 4 miler: Register today for this fun run and run off your turkey!

November 25: Gingerbread House at Franklin Park Conservatory: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. | Reservations are required!

November 25: Lucy Depp Park Light Show: Located in Powell and this light show covers 6 houses, 7 1/2 acres, and 40,000 lights! Runs Sunday- Thursday from 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. on weekends. Runs until New Year’s Day. Keeps getting bigger each year!

November 26: Home Depot Kids DIY Workshop: Make a holiday ornament at the end of this month! 

November 26-27: Hoover Garden Holiday Open House: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at Hoover Garden Center | Warm yourself with hot chocolate and cookies as you are surrounded by the wonder of Christmas. The lights and smells will take you back to the days when excitement filled the air in anticipation of Christmas Day! Grinch makes an appearance, paint your own ornament and J Meatball food truck will be on the grounds!

November 25-December 30, 2022: Clifton Mill Lights: 5:00 p.m. | Legendary! Clifton Mill truly is a delight and beautiful to see in person. (Closes at 8 pm on Christmas Eve and Christmas.)

November 25: Dazzling Christmas Lights in Westerville: 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. | First night for the show! The display is one house with over 100,000 Dazzling Christmas Lights that dance to music. Tune your car radio to 90.1 fm. and bring can food items for Warm. You can also play the music from your phone this year too. The display runs November 25 to December 31 Sunday-Thursday 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday 6 p.m. to 11 p.m- weather dependent. This is a free event all season long.

November 27: Worthington Holiday Open House: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. | Holiday themed activities, a visit from Santa and more! Stay tuned for more details.

November 27: Not Your Mama’s Holiday In Person Craft Market # 2: 11:00 a.m. at Brewdog in Canal Winchester | The best of handmade businesses will be joining for this indoor/outdoor market with food tracks, a bar, photo booth, and amazing makers.

November 27: A Charlie Brown Christmas: Live on Stage at The Palace Theater!

Maureen Ingham has enjoyed living in the great city of Columbus for nearly 13 years! Originally from Canton, Ohio, Maureen attended Ohio University and will always be a bobcat at heart! After completing her education degree in Athens, she made her way to The Ohio State University to obtain a Masters degree in Special Education. She fell in love with Columbus then and convinced her now husband to join her in this awesome city! She taught 5th grade for 6 years, before deciding to stay home to raise two beautiful girls. Their family has recently moved to Worthington with their two girls and are excited to plant their roots here! Their first daughter, Maeve is 6 and her sister, Reese will soon be 5 years old. They welcomed a son, Miles in March 2020. Maureen has been with The Columbus Moms Blog since the beginning and now enjoys working on editing and events for the blog. She also works as a Postpartum Doula with her sister at a company called Together Wee Grow. They provide night nursing services, as well as daytime support to local families and babies in Columbus. It is a wonderful job to work along her sister and help families with their precious little ones in a vulnerable time period. In between the night shifts, sweeping up crumbs, exploring Columbus, and getting kids to where they need to be, Maureen enjoys working out, trying new recipes and restaurants, traveling, spending time with family, being crafty and trying to help others whenever she can! Maureen has many Columbus favorites. Her go-to restaurant is Third and Hollywood, she enjoys a sweet treat at Sassafrass Bakery or Fox in the Snow, a slice of pizza at Dewey's Pizza and a warm cup of joe at Highline Coffee. A perfect Saturday involves an outdoor activity with her family and trying a new restaurant when they can! She is excited to be a part of an excellent team here at Columbus Moms blog and hopes to be able to inspire mothers that small acts of kindness go a long way in raising their kids and the city they live in!
