To celebrate the Fourth of July holiday as a community, Butch Bando’s Fantasy of Lights has created an event to honor and celebrate veterans and special warfare families. The Lights of Liberty Show is a drive-thru digital light show where you tune into a dedicated radio station and remain in your vehicles for a pop-up mini patriotic light show synchronized to music.

You’ll still get to enjoy the Powell Festival Community Fireworks on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 10 pm!

This year’s fireworks display will be launched at 10 p.m. Saturday, June 26 near Adventure Park, 260 Adventure Park Drive. The city encourages residents to watch from home or a nearby parking area. A map will be published closer to the date of the fireworks.

Freedom Fest and Parade Join the Hilliard community for the annual parade at 9 a.m. followed by a patriotic celebration, complete with live music, food trucks, and fireworks. Check back for more information.

The Rotary Club of Westerville Independence Celebration starts with a 5K run/walk at 8 a.m. at the Westerville Sports Complex, 325 N. Cleveland Ave.

The free concert with live bands starts at 5 p.m. at a new larger venue, the Westerville Sports Complex, 325 N. Cleveland Ave. Stick around to catch the wonderful Westerville Fireworks Show over the stage at 10 p.m., presented with patriotic music broadcast live by 104.9FM The River.

Independence Day will be celebrated on Saturday, July 3, 2021. The City of Dublin plans to host a fishing derby, a parade in Downtown Dublin, a fireworks display as well as a variety of concerts on Coffman High School grounds.

New Albany

Date: July 3, 2021

Parade at 11:00 a.m.- the parade will start at 11:00 am at the New Albany Primary School and end at the Church of the Resurrection.

The Festival is 6:00pm-9:45pm at the greenspace at New Albany Middle School, 6600 E. Dublin Granville Road. This free family-friendly event features The Conspiracy Theory band, kids activities, bounce houses, ice sculpture demonstration, caricature artists, The Beauty Bus, costume characters & more! Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Parade: Beginning at 9 am. This year the parade route has been revamped and there will be two different routes traveling through numerous neighborhoods.

Canal Winchester

Date: July 4, 2021 

There will be an opening ceremony to celebrate our Independence, and then Pastor Konan will bring a short devotional, followed by a baptism celebration.

There will be food trucks, bounce houses, corn hole, kick ball, slip n’ slides, yard games for kids of all ages, and giveaways. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the holiday.

This is a FREE family-friendly event. Bring cash for Food Trucks. Each person who attends is asked to bring a non-perishable food item that will be donated to the Canal Winchester Food Pantry.

July 4, 2021 

The Worthington community will once again celebrate Independence Day with Fireworks on the Fourth of July, however, the Rotary Family Picnic is delayed until Labor Day weekend.

Celebrations will include the John Barr 5k, parade, evening celebrations, and fireworks. The City has worked with public health experts and Franklin County Public Health to ensure their plans will keep residents, guests, and volunteers as safe as possible.

The fun begins at 12 pm with food, games and bounce house. The parade begins at 3 pm. Live music from 7:00-9:45 pm. Fireworks at 9:45 pm.
