Does your family cut down a REAL Christmas tree each year? Or maybe this a tradition you are looking to start with your family? Growing up, cutting down a tree was always a big tradition and it has become a tradition we love to continue with our own kids too. The process is a little extra work, but the fun we have while out on the farm is worth it! In my opinion, it’s the ultimate Christmas tradition!
There are quite a few options for Christmas tree farms in the Columbus area. Some might be a bit of a trek but with all the fun activities offered for the family, you can make a fun day of it. What a magical Christmas memory this could be! Let the kids pick out a gorgeous tree (or even a cute, wimpy, Charlie Brown-esque tree), go on a hayride, maybe pet some animals or meet Santa! With the right planning, this could be a day your family will never forget.
Prior to arriving at your selected tree farm, make sure to double-check the hours, what services they offer to help you get the tree home, and what payment methods they accept.(Also note that due to the pandemic, some of this information is subject to change.)
We hope you find the perfect tree! Don’t forget the rope!
