Leeds Farm – Ostrander, Ohio.

- Fall activities? YES! New this year, the Pumpkin Express, which joins the Pumpkin Plunge, two Pumpkin Jumps, John Deere Combine Slide, hayrides, straw forts, mountain slides, racer slides, pedal carts, mini-ziplines, pig races, farm animals, and much more!
- Admission required? Yes, admission is required to participate in activities. Prices start at $15 for adults and kids (Ages 3-54). Adults 55 and older are $5; under 3 are free. Big Zip $5 (not included in admission). You save $4 on each general admission ticket by pre-purchasing tickets online instead of at the farm gate.

- U-Pick? YES! There’s a 15-acre pick-your-own pumpkin patch.
- Pre-Picked? YES!
- Fall activities? YES! With a 10-acre corn maze, almost 50 acres of pumpkins, yummy food, and over 30 rides and attractions, Lehner‘s Pumpkin Farm provides ACRES OF FUN for all ages!! Spend a day on the farm and treat your family to some good, old-fashioned, country fun for very reasonable prices! Located in Radnor, OH (Delaware County), Lehner‘s is just a short drive from all Central Ohio cities. They have the best selection and pricing on pumpkins (pre-picked or pick your own) and all of your fall decorating needs. They also do group events, birthday parties and school tours!
- Admission required? Yes (unless you are just buying gift shop items, pumpkins or food.) All-day activity bands are available on the weekends (and some Mondays and Fridays) and cost $12 for guests aged 3-59, and free for children under three and guests over 60. During the evening weeknights (Tuesday-Thursday) the cost is $6 for guests aged 3-59 and free for children under three and guests over 59.

- Know before you go: Concessions are available on weekends! The property is beautiful and there are lots of picture opportunities. There’s so much to do for all ages. There are some indoor barns with activities, so not everything is outside. This is such a fun pumpkin patch!

Lohstroh Family Farms – Mt. Sterling, Ohio

- Admission required? $9 per person to take the wagon out to the pumpkin field, includes the price of the pumpkin. The tractor train and corn maze are $3 per person.
- Open daily? No! Saturdays 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Sundays 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. from September 1, 2024- November 4, 2024.
- Know before you go: There are cattle, goats, and a farm cat on the property, but it isn’t a petting environment. There’s a graffiti farm wall, haystack, and food trailer with concessions.

Pumpkin Patches: EAST
Dupler’s Pumpkin Land – Newark, Ohio
- U-Pick? No!
- Pre-Picked? YES! (Sorted by size)
- Fall activities? YES- very affordable prices. Two slides, straw maze, climbing web, haunted room, goats, bunnies, and more.
- Admission required? No. Free admission and parking. (Last year prices were $1 for a hand stamp for access to slides, straw maze, and haunted room.)
- Open daily? YES! Sunday – Friday 12:00 – 7:00 p.m.; Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (weather permitting). They open on September 13, 2024, at noon.
- Know before you go: In the past, they’ve only accepted cash or checks. Dawes Arboretum (which is free, donations accepted) is about a 1/2 mile north so pair this with a trip to Dupler’s Pumpkin Land. Pre-registration is required this year.

Lynd Fruit Farm – Pataskala, Ohio
- U-Pick? YES! (Available last weekend of September until they run out!) Must purchase one pumpkin to enter the patch.
- Pre-Picked? Yes! Many pre-picked pumpkins and gourds are available in their market.
- Fall activities? YES! Corn Maze is open from September 6- October 27, 2024. Corn maze, wagon rides, kids courtyard combo, and much more! The Secrets of Ohio is the theme this year for 2024! Wristbands can be purchased on-site or in advance via the online ticketing portal.
- Admission required? Only for farm activities.
- Open daily? Activities are available Friday-Saturday-Sunday.

Pigeon Roost Farm – Hebron, Ohio
- U-Pick? No. (Lots of pumpkins are brought from the fields and displayed in the barnyard area so there’s a good variety to pick from.)
- Pre-Picked? YES!
- Fall activities? YES! Tons of farm fun!
- Admission required? Admission only for farm activities. The pumpkin market is free. Cost is $10.
- Open daily? Closed Monday and Tuesday but opening on September 14, 2024 – October 31, 2024; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Know before you go: The activities are spread out throughout the property and even into the woods. There’s a lot of walking and the scenery is picturesque.

Schacht Family Farm– Canal Winchester, Ohio
- They aren’t doing u-pick this year and only have a few “self-serve” items. (Thanks to a reader’s comment for letting us know!)

Van Buren Acres – Hebron, Ohio
- U-Pick? YES!
- Pre-Picked? Yes! Many pre-picked pumpkins are available near the entrance and exit.
- Fall activities? YES!
- Admission price includes a large and small corn maze, soybean maze, sunflower paths, jumping pillow, hayrides, barrel train, putt-putt golf, ball zones, hay bale roles, duck races, slides, and all other activities. Not included: gemstone mining, pumpkins, concessions, and store items. Additionally, the jumping pillows will be closed during the pig races for sanitation. Also, a 9-acre sunflower area!
- Admission required? Not to pick pumpkins, eat at the cafe or shop in the store. Admission is $10 (2 and under free) and includes most of the activities, but some like gem mining and pumpkin picking have an additional fee. You can also pay $25 for a season pass and that also includes a pumpkin. Opens September 7, 2024 through October 30, 2024.

Jacquemin Farms- Plain City , Ohio

- Know before you go: The pumpkin donuts are delicious at the Plain City location! Part of the land was sold a few years ago so the u-pick pumpkins are in Marysville now.

- Know before you go: Save money by buying tickets online ahead of time. The 9-acre corn maze is amazing! See their website for the 2024 design- Snoopy for Prez! There’s a shorter path and a longer one.
- Also, the haunted path: Field of Fright is open at dark from October 4-26, 2024.

The Orchard & Company– Plain City, Ohio
- U-Pick? Not pumpkins, but there are U-Pick apples.
- Pre-Picked? YES!
- Fall Activities? YES! Some of the activities included are a small zip line, corn pit, jumping pillow (lots of fun for parents to jump too!) and Moo Moo Express. See a complete list here: fall attractions.
- Admission required? YES! Adults & Children- $14, Seniors- $5, Under 2-Free. Fishing and Gem Mining are extra. A farm pass is not required to pick apples. Season pass is $20.
- Open daily? No. Saturdays and Sundays only September 7 – October 27, 2024 from 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. (U-pick apples began in August and run through the middle of October. Call to check availability.)
- Know before you go: This is a pretty location, so bring your camera to capture some fall photos. There are lots of live animals and several activities for children.

Young’s Jersey Dairy– Yellow Springs, Ohio (about an hour west of Columbus)

- Admission required? No. You can purchase three or five-tab wristbands and select which activities you want to do.
- Open daily? YES! Pumpkin Picking begins September 21, 2024 until October 27, 2024.
- Know before you go: The food and homemade ice cream are wonderful! There are lots of activities to keep you busy and things for older kids too like a driving range and mini-golf course. Young’s Jersey Dairy also has lots of different events throughout the year, so be sure to check the schedule. Honey Haven Farm – Ashland, Ohio (about an hour north of Columbus)
- U-Pick? YES. And, a horse-drawn wagon ride to the field!
- Pre-Picked? YES!
- Fall activities? YES! Pumpkin slingshot, corn cannon, corn maze, straw maze, barnyard zoo, free horse-drawn wagon rides, a market that has apples, homemade donuts and cider.
- Admission required? No. Each activity has a minimal cost.
- Open daily? No. Opening day is September 28, 2024 through October 27, 2024. They will be open Wednesday- Friday from 3:00-7:00, Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., and Sundays 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Know before you go: There’s is a market with lots of yummy treats like pumpkin ice cream!

McDonald’s Greenhouse and Corn Maze – Zanesville, Ohio (about an hour east of Columbus)
- U-Pick? YES.
- Pre-Picked? YES!
- Fall activities? YES! Pedal tractor track, gaga ball pit, baby farm animal petting zoo, a 5-acre corn maze, kangaroo jumper and more. New spider web this year! Private parties are available too.
- Admission required? Yes. General admission is $8 for ages 3 and up.
- Open daily? Opening day is September 14, 2024- October 31, 2024. Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Sunday 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday in October: open until 7:00 p.m. Limited hayrides during the week.

The Farm at Walnut Creek– Sugarcreek, Ohio
- U-Pick? No.
- Pre-Picked? YES!
- Fall activities? During Fall Fest there are some special fall activities. It varies by the day of the week, so check out the website to see what is offered.
- Admission required? Yes. Prices vary.
- Open daily? Yes, except they are closed on Sundays. Fall Fest runs from September 27-28, October 4-5, October 11-12 and October 18-19, and October 25-26! Also open on Columbus Day, October 14, 2024.

Hendrens is gone – I’m not sure if they will rebuild elsewhere, but there is nothing left at their current address. Tried to go yesterday but it’s just an empty lot now.
