Fall is here! The weather is a bit cooler so it makes for a great time to be outside for a variety of fall events and festivals happening right here in Columbus, Ohio. There are many different types of festivals from church festivals to all things pumpkin. Find a festival that interests you and your family and put it on the calendar this year!

August
St. Mary’s Egyptian Festival – Aug 26-28, 202022 – this festival celebrates Egyptian culture with food, games, vendors and raffles!
Urban Scrawl –August 28-29, 2022 – this Franklinton festival features live mural creations, art activities for kids, break dancing and food trucks!
Millersport Sweet Corn Festival – August 28- 30, 2022– celebrate sweet corn with square dancing, a tractor pull, live music, historical exhibits and lots more!

Ohio Renaissance Festival – September 17 – October 30, 2022 – this festival features games, rides, food, crafts, jousting and live performances! Different theme every weekend!
Marion Popcorn Festival– September 8-10, 2022 – this is the largest popcorn festival in the world! There’s free admission, with a charge for items such as ride tickets and food.
Hot Times Community Music and Arts Festival – September 9-10, 2022 – this independent festival features a street fair, live music, and food!
Columbus Oktoberfest– September 9-11, 2022 – many activities including those just for kids at The Ohio Expo Center!
Lithopolis Honey Fest – September 9-10, 2022 – celebrate bees and their honey with kids crafts, demonstrations, honey tasting, a bake-off and lots more!
Powell Street Market – September 18, 2022 – the final Powell Street Market of the season features vendors, Ohio-made products, produce and food trucks.
Old Hilliard Fest – September 10, 2022 – this festival features an art and street fair, games, rides, old cars, music and food.
Delaware County Fair – September 17-24, 2022 – a week of entertainment, contests, food and fun!
Oktoberfest–September 16-18, 2022- Come out and celebrate German traditions in downtown Columbus!
Grove City Arts in the Alley – September 16-18, 2022 – this art show features photography, crafts, fine art, a parade and more! 43rd annual event!
Harvest Fair at Stratford Ecological Center – October 1, 2022 – feed chickens, take a wagon ride, climb a tractor and more at this celebration of Stratford and farming! See all there is to do at Stratford Ecological Center!
Apple Fest at Lawrence Orchards- September 24, 2022 – Good Old Fashioned Family fun with wagon rides, pumpkin painting, corn bin play, and much more! What a great fall event!
October
Chalk the Block at Easton Town Center – October 1-3, 2022– watch artists design and make chalk drawings on the sidewalks at Easton! Live music is also featured! Come back on Sunday to see the finished product.
Italian Festival – October 7-9, 2022 – celebrate Italian culture with food, rides, a parade, live entertainment and more! Taste of Italy is Monday, October 3.
Boo at the Zoo – October 14-16 and October 21-23, AND October 28-30 2022 – dress up in costume and collect treats around the zoo! This fall event occurs 3 weekends this year!
Yellow Springs Street Fair – October 8, 2022 – this street fair includes live music, street performers, arts and craft vendors and food!
Fall Festival at Oakland Nursery – October 8-9, 2022 – this festival takes place at all locations of Oakland Nursery and includes special sales, door prizes and pumpkins!
Circleville Pumpkin Show – October 19-22, 2022 – parades, contests, craft demonstrations, concerts, games and tons more! The Circleville Pumpkin Show is known as the “Greatest Free Show on Earth” as there is no admission charged.
