Guide to February
February 1-4
February 1: Teen and Tween Crafternoon: 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. at Tremont Road Library | Drop by and learn how to make adorable paper crafts inspired by Kawaii art. All supplies are provided. Open to grades 6-12.
February 1-4: Disney On Ice: Get your tickets today!
February 1-3: Peter and the Starcatcher: 7:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. on February 4:Peter and the Sarcatcher: At the Westerville South Auditorium | Presented by Westerville South High School. It explores the depths of greed and despair and the bonds of friendship!
February 2: Groundhog Day at Blendon Woods Nature Center: 10:00 a.m. | Meet at the nature center and read a story and learn about groundhogs!
February 2: Sunset and S’mores at Quarry Trails Metro Park: 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. at Quarry Trails | Sunset with a campfire and all the s’more equipment!
February 2-4: The Worries of Wesley: Various Times at the Riffe Center| Meet Wesley, a bright and curious kid who loves school, has great friends, and supportive parents. But sometimes, the world can feel overwhelming, especially for someone with anxiety. Join Wesley on a journey of self-discovery as they learn to listen to their brain, heart, and lungs in order to live with their worries.
February 2: Winter Famly Adventure: GroundHog Day Pizza Party: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. | It is the halfway point of winter! Groundhogs know how to throw a party. There will be sensory stations to explore, woodchuck work, ground squirrel games, pizza, beverages, groundhog cookies, and more! There will be adventures both indoors and outdoors to celebrate the second half of the winter season. $40 a family and includes pizza dinner
February 2: Date Night: Creme Brulee: 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at The Franklin Park Conservatory | Go through each step in class including caramelizing the sugar with a small handheld kitchen torch. Everyone will get to enjoy crème brulee at the end of class as well as take home their own creation. Light snacks and prosecco will be provided.
February 2: Family Night at Worthington Rec Center: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. | Unplug and connect with your loved ones at Family Night hosted by the Worthington Community Center. Kids of all ages are guaranteed to enjoy our FREE family-friendly activities. Valentine’s is the theme!
February 2-3: Come From Away: Get your tickets today! At the Palace Theater!
February 3: New Albany Farmers Market: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Join in for an array of local produce, baked goods, coffee, artisan products, food trucks, and more at Phillip Heit Center. They will be utilizing our indoor spaces and their patio!
February 3: Ice Cream for Breakfast at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Come try banana French Toast!
February 3: Little Rollers Skate: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | Come on out and let the little ones learn to skate!
February 3: Let’s Throw Stories: 1:30 p.m. | Come to the Main Library for interactive tales rooted in African and African-American folk tale tradition.
February 3: Sweet Fire: Author Visit with J.P. Mitchell at Westerville Public Library | 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. | Q and A and book signing to follow and is ideal for ages 2-8.
February 4: Uptown Westerville Cocoa Trail: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. | Stroll the sidewalks of Historic Uptown Westerville for the Annual Cocoa Trail! During this free event, shops are serving up delectable chocolate-themed refreshments and treats.
February 4: Franklin Park Conservatory Community Day: Free to Franklin Country Residents all day. A great way to explore!
February 5-11
February 8: Old Worthington Chocolate Walk: 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. | This popular event is a sweet stroll through our beautiful historic business district. With your $30 ticket, you will receive vouchers to redeem for treats to at least 15 businesses. Each business thoughtfully prepares a chocolate treat for you to experience their business in a unique, yummy way.
February 8: Yoga at CMA: 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at CMA | Replenish invites you to enjoy yoga for everyday life. Whether you are a beginner or advanced student this practice will allow you to reset the body, move at a slower pace and experience the practice of relaxation.
February 8: COSI After Dark: 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. | Renaissance Fare is the theme this time! Adults only!
February 8-11: The Worries of Wesley at The Riffe Center: Geared towards kids ages 8-14. Wesley, a kid with anxiety is on a journey of self-discovery.
February 8-11: Valentine’s Pop-Up Shop at Sticky Fingers Ice Cream Parlor: 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. | Valentine’s Specials each day!
February 8-11: Nat King Cole and Friends: Get ready to step back in time to the era of classic jazz and swing music with Nat King Cole & Friends at the Southern Theater.
February 9: KSM Valentine’s Day Party: 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. | Yoga, crafts, photo booth, and more! Pre-register today as spots at limited.
February 9: Over the Rhine Valentine’s Songs: Join them in Columbus for a very special concert: “Infamous Love Songs: An Over the Rhine Valentine’s Concert”.
February 9-10: Baby Shark Live: DIve into the action for these shows!
February 9-11 and 14: Valentine’s Carriage Rides: 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 and 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on February 11 | Experience the lights of Easton and the beauty of winter from a horse-drawn carriage throughout Easton’s North District and Fenlon Square. Rides are $10 per person, cash only. Children under 15 years of age ride free with a paying adult. Carriages pick up and drop off outside of Zara on Gramercy Street.
February 9-11: Alice: This ballet is a full-length, meaning, one ballet with intermissions, similar to a book with chapters. Act I: 42 minutes followed by a 20-minute intermission, concluding with Act II: 34 minutes. Presented by BalletMet. Click here to learn more!
February 9-11: Columbus Fishing Expo: All things fishing at the Ohio Expo Center.
February 10: Give the Girl The Mic: Give That Girl the Mic is celebrating its 11th annual inspiring and exciting evening of girl empowerment. The talent showcase welcomes girls ages 5-18 from all over the community to grab the mic and take the stage. They welcome all types of positive and age-appropriate talent, individuals, groups, and schools.
February 10: Drive-In Movie Tremont Library: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Together, young children and caregivers will build and design their own cars out of moving boxes, paper plates, and other decorations, and then will jump in to watch a selection of youth movie shorts.
February 10: Maple Sugar Days: $10 for each participant. Many time slots are available! Also available February 25.
February 10: Hip Hop Family Skate: 8:00 p.m. at Skate 71 | Bring the entire family for great food and fun on the roller rink.
February 10: Couples Therapy Theatrical Show: 8:00 p.m. | It is a unique and clever combination of theatre, stand-up comedy, and improv that is as funny as it is insightful!
February 11: All Ohio Reptile Show: 10:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. | Come out and see your favorite scaly friends! Admission is cash only.
February 11: Galentine’s Maker Morning at Coffee Connections: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. | Enjoy some mimosas, brunchy hors d’oerves, and several hands-on maker stations with talented local artists to help get your craft on! You’ll take home 3-4 projects including two jewelry pieces depending on how much time you dedicate to each, with all materials and supplies included!
February 11: My Funny Valentine at CMA: 2:00 -4:00 p.m. | The Tony Hagood Quintet will share a concert of love songs leading up to Valentine’s Day. There will be many familiar crooner standards such as My Funny Valentine, At Last, But Beautiful, Unforgettable, as well as some more upbeat romantic songs to celebrate the holiday like L-O-V-E, Fly Me to the Moon, There is No Greater Love, Cheek to Cheek, and much more!

February 13-18: Company: Winner of 5 Tony Awards including Best Revival of a Musical, COMPANY strikes like a lightning bolt!
February 13: KSM Valentine’s Party: 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. | Yoga with Amy Jo & The Balanced Child Method, Capture memorable moments with photos on Valentine’s Day Backdrop, Special visit from Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Open Play for the little ones and Engaging Valentine’s Crafts!
February 14: Valentine’s Day at White Castle: 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at most locations | They are inviting guests to pick up a Love Cube Meal for Two or with free delivery of orders of $15 or more.
February 14: Valentine’s Chihuly Night: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at The Franklin Park Conservatory | See the Conservatory’s Chihuly Collection in a whole new light during Chihuly Nights. All 18 installations will be professionally lit up to create breathtaking views within the backdrop of the interior Conservatory.
February 14: Rusty Bucket Family Valentine’s Day: Kids eat free with every adult entree purchase!
February 16: Explore More at Worthington Park Library: 10:30 a.m. | Kids and caregivers will enjoy songs, rhymes and books focused on getting kids ready for Kindergarten!
February 16: Winter Crafternoon at Blendon Woods Nature Center: 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Enjoy a fun craft at the nature center!
February 16: Family Bingo at Family Room Coffee and Bakeshop: Play Bingo from 6:00 p.m .- 8:00 p.m. All ages welcome and you can win treats and goodies!

February 16: Valentine’s Day at Columbus Museum of Art: 6:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. | For those seeking a unique fine dining experience, an intimate 4-course meal with a wine pairing will be served under the stars in Edwards Court. Tickets for this event include a plated dinner, wine pairing for each course, live entertainment by pianist Doug Hare, and access to a cash bar with time to explore the open galleries before or after your dinner.
February 16: Family Night at Worthington Rec Center: 6:30 p.m. | Visit the Worthington Community Center to connect as a family with exciting crafts, activities and games. This week Mardi Gras will be featured in the activities.

February 17: Hands-on history at Ohio History Center: 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m .| Kids ages 3-7 can enjoy hands-on stations and storytime.
February 17: Live Animals with Ohio Wildlife Center: 2:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. | Meet live animals from Ohio Wildlife Center and bring an item to donate for their care!

February 18: NASA STEM Kids Interactive Event at Hilltop YMCA: 9:30 a.m. | Students and their family members will learn about various topics such as the Artemis missions to the Moon, Mars exploration, aeronautics, the Sun, the Space Launch System, and the International Space Station.
February 18: PBJ and Jazz Samba School at Club Lincoln: 10:00 a.m. | $5 per person! Let your kids explore the orchestra!
February 18: Home and Garden Show: 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. | Head out to see the magnificent indoor gardens and get the hottest home & garden advice to knock out your next big home improvement project – all under one roof.

February 19 President’s Day at Ohio History Center: Visit Ohio History Center on Monday from 10 am – 4 pm to create your own campaign memorabilia, enjoy presidential-themed activities, and meet and meet several Presidential presenters on the museum floor. Presenters will be available between 11 am and 2 pm.
February 19: The Bugman at Franklin Park Conservatory: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m .| See the Bugman to learn about and hold creepy, crawly bugs. Included in admission!
February 19: Winter Sensory Hike at HighBanks: 1:00 p.m.| Great for ages 6-12 to take a guided hike that includes activities to engage the senses.
February 19: KidX Bestie Bash at Polaris Fashion Place: This event takes place on Monday at Polaris Fashion Place at 5:00 p.m. Singing, dancing with your favorite characters. face painting, balloon twisting, and a craft!
February 22: Cocktails at The Conservatory: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Franklin Park Conservatory | Step right up to the Mardi Gras extravaganza, where the air is filled with the rhythm of jazz and the scent of delights from vibrant cocktail samples to delicious food trucks. Marvel at the enchanting talents of an illusionist, seek guidance from a mystical tarot card reader and zoltar and look up to the sky for aerial entertainers.
February 23: Dinosaurs at US Airforce Museum: Come see the Dinosaurs of Motion exhibit!

February 24-25: Maple Syrup Days at Dawe Arboretum: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. | Walk along the trail to discover the many ways syrup has been made throughout history. Peek inside the Log Cabin, and taste a sample of this all-natural treat! Tours are first come, first served, and groups will leave every 15 minutes from 1 to 2:45pm.
February 25: Columbus Baby and Kids Galleria Event at Polaris Fashion Place: 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m .| Resources for pregnant women and parents of newborns through 10-year-olds.
February 25: Chris Botti: This event is the 2024 McCoy Center Soirée!

February 27: Malcolm X: 6:30 p.m. | The Tuesday Film Parlor program is designed to create a conversation around films with significant artistic and cultural impact. This program will consist of a FREE screening of a selected film followed by a meet-up the next week to discuss the film in an open forum.
Ongoing Activities
The Month of February: Pedal Wagon at Easton: Climb aboard the Easton Pedal Wagon – the newest way to #EnjoyEaston! In partnership with Pedal Wagon Columbus, this two-hour pedal-powered cruise will take you through the streets of Easton, making stops along the way at your favorite bars and restaurants.
The Month of February: Creatures of Light at COSI: From fireflies found in backyards across the Northeast to the deep-sea fishes that illuminate the perpetually dark ocean depths, discover how light is used to attract a mate, lure unsuspecting prey, or defend against predators.
Mondays and Fridays: Snow Much Fun Music and Art Classes: Various times at the Art of Music in Lewis Center | Offering many times and classes for a combination of art and music.
Sunday & Tuesdays & Thursdays: Toddler Time with Get Air | It’s a toddler takeover every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday morning! Little Air jumpers (under 46”) and their parents/guardians are the only ones allowed to jump during this time. 10 a.m.- noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 9:00 am – 11:00 a.m. on Sundays.
Sundays: Columbus Museum of Art– Free Admission! The Wonder Room is a great place for kids to explore.
Bring your sweet kiddos ages 0-4 to my super special Zumbini with Gretchen Valentine’s Party on Feb. 12!
