Applications are now open for The Ohio State University’s Arts and Sciences Summer Exploration Program!
The Arts and Sciences Summer Exploration Program is a one-week non-residential academic enrichment program for middle (current 7-8 graders) and high school (current 9-11) students. In-person classes meet from 9am to 4pm each day and are taught by Ohio State faculty, staff and graduate students. Teaching is active and hands-on, encouraging students to explore new areas of study or allow them to engage in content they already have an interest in. Summer Exploration is offered in three, one-week sessions in June 2024. Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.
The mission of 2nd & 7 is to promote reading by providing free books and positive role models to kids in need while encouraging young athletes of the community to pay it forward.
Our Tackling Illiteracy program encourages 2nd graders to read and provides each of those children with a visit from a student-athlete role model and a new book to take home.
In the NEW Columbus Kids’ Book Bank, we accept NEW & VERY GENTLY used K-6 books to be distributed to local classrooms and organizations that serve children in central Ohio. We need the help of individuals, teams, and businesses in our community to help us the the collection, sorting, and distribution of books.
Our annual football camp is one of the biggest fundraisers that supports our mission. Our camp promises to be one of the best camps of the summer for your child. This camp focuses on the fundamentals of football in a non-contact setting, with some of the best coaches around. Kids ages 7-14 are treated to 3 days of drills, guest speakers, great food and a lot of fun! Proceeds from camp support our mission to promote reading by providing free books and positive role models to kids in need while encouraging young athletes of the community to pay it forward.

Pickaway Place is a community destination for classes, program, events and more! We offer a wide variety of programming from adult exercise class and education classes, open play/indoor play space, kids activities and classes; as well as a batting cage and birthday/event rental space. There is no joining or commitment fee associated with activities at Pickaway Place. And you do not need to live in Pickaway County to attend.
Paulettes Princess Parties is a full-service character production company with 80 plus characters to choose from. - CLASSES: Princess Dance and Theatre class, a Character hip hop or a palace dance class. These classes run in 6-week and 12-week sessions and are available throughout the year. So many smiles are created in these special classes.
- PARTIES AT YOUR HOME or venue are so special. Choose a character(s) to come to entertain your guests with amazing singing, dancing, interactive stories, a grande coronation or superhero oath ceremony and so much more. We customize to your needs.
- PERFORMANCES: characters can be booked for a performance to WOW your crowd. These can be performed for 20 minutes to an hour with dancing, singing and lots of interaction with your guests.
- OUR ENCHANTED BALLS are spectacular. We have produced and presented The Enchanted Ball and Cinderella’s wedding, The Enchanted Princess Ball of Columbus & The Lancaster Princess Ball. Coming up is The Enchanted Princess Ball and Belle’s Royal Wedding (Oct 2019), The Frozen Holiday Princess Ball (Dec 2019) and The Enchanted Princess Ball of Columbus (Feb 2020).
- HOLIDAY CHARACTERS: Our entertainers go all out for the holidays with Santa, Mrs. Claus, Grinch, Magnificent Carolers, Toy Soldiers, Elves, Sugar Plum Fairy , Buddy, and Jovie Elves and of course the Frozen Queen, Princess and Smiling Snowman. Make your holiday extra special …..
