Happy March! Are you thinking all things spring? It’s been a fairly mild winter, but who is ready for the gray skies to move out? We are hoping that warmer temps and sunshine are just around the corner and that they are here to stay!! We’ve rounded up some of the best activities going on in Columbus this month in our March Guide. Be sure to check links as events can change!

Month of March: Celtic Cocktail Trail: Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by sampling some of the best of Dublin dining and craft cocktails. Each of the 18 stops offers a unique, Irish-themed cocktail to give you a taste of Irish attitude. Download your passport today!
Month of March: Fairy Door Trail: Find each of Downtown Dublin’s resident fairies and explore what each stop has to offer on the Irish Fairy Door Trail!
March 1- March 12: Orchids at The Conservatory: Come see the beautiful orchids at the Conservatory!
March 1: Pancake Breakfast at Westerville Community Center: 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. | Stop by the monthly breakfast for pancakes, eggs, sausage, orange juice, and coffee. This event will be held the first Wednesday of each month.
March 1: Butterflies in Water Color: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Franklin Park Conservatory | Join for a night of appreciating butterflies through the medium of watercolor. The instructor will guide you step-by-step through the process of sketching butterflies and then painting delicate watercolor butterflies across the page. No experience is necessary; basic watercolor skills will be taught. All materials are included except frames.
March 3-6: The Arnold Sports Festival: This popular 3-day expo returns!
March 3: Family Night at Worthington Community Center: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. | Unplug and connect during Family Night! This program is for parents and children (an adult is required) and offers a variety of free activities including arts and crafts, passive games and big and little kid gym time.
March 3-5: The Sound of Music: Various times at The Palace Theater | Nationwide Children’s presents this show and this family-friendly, Broadway-quality production benefits the Hospice and Palliative Care Programs at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

March 4: Indoor Worthington Farmers’ Market: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at The Shoppes at Worthington | Come enjoy the fresh produce in the winter too!
March 4: Maple Syrup Days: 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at Stratford Ecological Center | Learn how to tap a tree, help collect sap, and learn about the evaporation process. After the maple sugar experience stop in the animal barn to say hello to the animals. Come grab a pancake after and bring your own reusable fork and coffee mug. $10.00 per person.
March 4: SuperHero Day: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Bring out your little superhero ages 2-8 for this superhero-themed day of games, crafts, snacks, an obstacle course and more! You can even meet a real-live superhero! Participants are welcome to dress up as their favorite superheroes. $15 per participant.
March 4: Indoor Farmer’s Market in New Albany: The Healthy New Albany Farmers Market has become a community staple over the last decade. Come out and shop local!
March 4: Cookie walk in Uptown Westerville: 12:00 p.m. | Take a stroll through Uptown Westerville and collect a Cheryl’s Gourmet Cookie as you visit locally owned small businesses housed in Westerville’s historic commercial district

March 11: Vernal Pool at Glacier Ridge: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. | Join the naturalist as we explore vernal pools, a critically important ecosystem here at Glacier Ridge! Expect to get a little muddy. Meet by the shelter house.
March 11: March Hilltop Hop: 10:00 a.m. in the Hilltop | Shop the businesses of Broad & Westmoor for the March Hilltop Hop! Slice of Heaven Bakery will have a pop-up shop with St. Patrick’s Day goodies at The Design Refinery and there will be painting pottery at Clay Street Ceramics and more on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
March 11: Friends of the Library Children’s Book Sale: 10:00 a.m. at Columbus Main Library| Join Friends of the Library for the Big Book Sale. Find great deals children’s books and clearance merchandise.
March 11: Dublin Irish Parade: 11:00 a.m. | It returns to Dublin! It’s a full day of events!
March 11: Drag Brunch: 11:00 a.m. | Enjoy a festive brunch featuring performances by Gretta Goodbottom, Maya Bizness, Shawty West, Eris Grey, and Bianca Debonaire. Remember to bring your cash money to make it rain on our beloved Kings and Queens.
March 11: St. Patrick’s Day All Day Candle Making: 11:00 a.m. at Busy Bee’s Dublin |Gather your pals and join The Bees to create a sham-ROCKIN scented candle made with your own two hands! They will have a variety of different glass forms, delicious scents and wax colors to choose from at the event. This registration reserves your spot for you to create one customized candle!
March 11: Irish Culture Celebration: 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. | With St. Patrick’s Day right around the corner, let’s celebrate some elements of Irish culture! From 11 a.m. -2 p.m., families and individuals can participate in a shamrock craft. Then at 2 p.m., watch a special Irish dance performance by the students of the Dwyer School of Irish Dance Studio.
March 11: Kids Slime Making and Acrylic Paint Pour Class: 1:00 p.m. at Terra Gallery | Kids will make slime and then create an abstract acrylic painting on Saturday at 1:00 PM. This class is for kids and teens of all ages. Tickets are available online and should be purchased by 3/10.
March 11: Chihuly Nights at Franklin Park Conservatory: 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. | See the Conservatory’s Chihuly Collection in a whole new light during Chihuly Nights. All 19 installations will be professionally lit to create a breathtaking view within the backdrop of the interior Conservatory biomes. Advanced tickets are required.

March 16: Kids Slime Making and Acrylic Paint Pour Class: 1:00 p.m. at Terra Gallery | Kids will make slime and then create an abstract acrylic painting on Saturday at 1:00 PM. This class is for kids and teens of all ages. Tickets are available online and should be purchased by 3/10.
March 16: HITS The Musical: Dionne Warwick, 6-time Grammy Award winner and music legend, presents Hits! The Musical – 90 minutes of pure joy with extraordinary singing, spectacular dancing, hundreds of costume changes, and state-of-the-art lighting and sound that will leave you amazed.

March 17: St. Patrick’s Day Kid’s Night Out: 5:30 p.m. at Busy Bee’s Pottery in Dublin | Sparkles the Unicorn will be painted! Kids can be dropped off at the minimum age of 6. Tickets are available online!
March 17: Family Movie Night at Wesley Church of Hope: Free family movie nights includes raffle prizes, free popcorn, and bottled water. Reserve your free spot online!
March 17: Shamrock Pizza at Skate Zone 71: 6:30 p.m. at Skate Zone | Come wearing green to get a free glow stick! The event is $15 and includes admission, skate rental and pizza with a small drink.

March 18: PBJ and Jazz Concert: 10:00 a.m. | Featuring some of Columbus’ finest musicians and ensembles, PBJ & Jazz concerts are the perfect way for families to enjoy top-quality jazz music while children learn and play.
March 18: Leprechaun Lunch: 12:00 p.m. at Battelle Darby Nature Center | Eat your lunch at the nature center and learn about Clover and what he eats! There will be a short craft and for ages 5 and up!

March 18: Shamrock and Shenanigans: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Camp Mary Orton| Enjoy an evening of fun and games at Camp Mary Orton while raising awareness about food insecurity and the need in our community. Join us for a night of shenanigans all benefiting the Worthington Resource Pantry.
March 19: Inclusive Swim & Gym: 5:30 p.m. -7:30 ap.m. | Enjoy the indoor pool and fun activities in the gymnasium where you can swim and play without the addition of crowds and receive a discounted rate. Designed for individuals with disabilities and their families. The indoor pool and gymnasium will be available.
March 23-April 6: But You Could Have Held My Hand: This new play starts with four ten-year-olds who meet at a wedding. Little do they know this chance encounter will change their lives for decades to come. Jumping through time, the play uses dance, music, and poetry to explore sexuality, gender, race, and love.

March 24: Family STEM Night: 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. | Experience an evening of hands-on science, math, and engineering games and activities to complete together! Drinks and snacks will be provided.
March 24: Easton Town Center Easter Egg Hunt: The Easter Bunny has scattered eggs all around Easton. Use the list of clues to find the eggs and receive a special treat. This event runs until April 16.
March 24: The Dispatch Family Value Pack Blue Jackets: 7:00 p.m. at Nationwide Arena | Price includes game ticket, skate pass and value meal and prices start at $30 dollars per person.

March 26: Kids Easter Cookie Class at Outerbelt Brewery: 3:00 p.m. | Kids will learn how to decorate cookies with 3 different Easter Designs. Crafts for in-between cookies and also a sip and shop at the same location.
