At The Goddard School of Powell, meeting the needs of the individual child is our highest priority. Our play-based F.L.EX.® Learning Program (Fun Learning Experience) is designed to ensure that assessments of each child in the classroom guide the daily curriculum developed by our highly qualified, professional teaching staff while creating a loving, nurturing, and safe environment in which parents can trust. Our core values include fostering a well-rounded approach to learning, ensuring that our students are not just school ready, they are life-ready. We encourage children to discover and explore their interests, empowering them to become happy, confident, self-aware, empathetic, and self-directed. The teaching and enjoyment of manners, art, music and world cultures is just as integral to our curriculum as STEAM based learning. In addition, The Goddard School of Powell is proud to offer age appropriate enrichment programs including American Sign Language, Yoga, and Spanish beginning at 2.5 years old. We also recently introduced Chess at 3, a cutting edge enrichment program offered exclusively at our school. On-site owner Rebecca Burkholder encourages an open door policy and strives to build a partnership with parents to ensure we provide the highest possible quality experience for students and their families.
