Fall is certainly in the air! As the temps cooled down this week, it was a great opportunity to take the time to head out to Leeds Farm- my family’s favorite pumpkin farm! There was even a leaf or two beginning to change colors on our drive, so my family and I decided it was the perfect day to take in all the joys of fall. Leeds farm is definitely all about family fun and our visit did not disappoint!

Visiting Leeds Farm
Leeds Farm is located in Ostrander, Ohio. This drive typically takes 30-40 minutes if you live in Central Ohio. The ride is an easy one though and it’s fun to drive through the small town as well! One important thing to remember is that you save $4 per general admission ticket by pre-purchasing tickets online instead of at the gate. You can visit their website here, to purchase your ticket. Leeds Farm is open 6 weekends only from 10am-5pm starting September 21, plus one Friday, October 18. They have a number of special events including a Leeds Farm Witches Night out.
The farm is jam-packed with options of things to do! They have hayrides, farm animals, Pumpkin Jumps, John Deere combine slide, mountain slides, zip lines, rolling tubes, straw forts, pig races, pedal carts, trike track, Pumpkin Plunge, Leeds Farm Tree House, and the new Pumpkin Express!

There is also an onsite cafe in the North Barn, where you can purchase a variety of foods! For purchase, they have hot dogs, soft pretzels, nachos, and chicken sandwiches. For the sweet tooth fans, they have donuts, cookies, and even pie! My family enjoyed the apple cider slushie- it is a must, especially on a warmer day! Outside of the cafe, is a new seating area where there are covered tables and really fun swings to sit at! It looks beautiful from the drive-in and would be a great spot for a large gathering.

New in 2023 at Leed’s Farm
One of the recent additions you will notice upon your arrival is the new and expanded Green Acres activity area at Leeds Farm. My kids were drawn to this area from the get-go! There is a brand new Tree House playground and it was enjoyed by all ages of my kids. There is a fun walking bridge, a firehouse pole, some great spots for hide and seek, and a lot of secret areas! Behind the treehouse were gravity wagon basketball and football, which were both entertaining games!

The Pumpkin Plunge is a tubing excursion that uses bubbles to go down! The kids had a blast racing down since there were two lanes. There is a height requirement of 42 inches but the staff was super helpful in getting the kids up the ramp with their tubes. You can stand at the bottom and watch them fly down!

Inside the green barn was a favorite picture spot for us! You stand on a certain spot on the ground and the way that it looks in your photo is like some magic happened! You have to check it out! It is a 3-D type of experience.

The tilt barn occupied the older kids with the optical illusion pictures inside! You could also send a ball UP the tube instead of down! This area is full of unique activities you won’t find at other pumpkin patches.

Your Time at Leeds Farm
We arrived right at 10 a.m. and we were greeted with friendly faces upon our arrival. Parking was a breeze and well marked off! We spent the next 4 hours exploring all the farm had to offer! There is SO MUCH TO DO at Leeds! No matter where you start, you can’t go wrong!
With your general admission ticket, you can participate in a variety of activities.
- Roller Tubing
- Pumpkin Express- new in 2024!
- Pumpkin Jump
- Combine Slide
- Pedal Carts
- Mountain Slides
- Mini Zip Line
- Corn Box
- Pumpkin Plunge
- Hayride
- Farm Animals (Little cups of feed are available for purchase and cost $1. Bring cash for this!)
The first thing the kids wanted to do was the pumpkin jump! The line was short and it did not disappoint. It is a large inflatable for kids to jump around on!

My son spent a long time on the John Deere slide, while my daughters ventured over to the pedal carts. These activities were close to each other, so that was great to be able to keep an eye on all of the kids!

We ventured over to the Green Acres area after this and checked out all the new activities! The girls enjoyed the games here as well.

After our slushie break, we took some time to use the indoor slides which gave us a chance to cool off! Your little ones may need help climbing up this slide. The clean restrooms are located near the food area and as a person with young children, this was greatly appreciated! The changing tables have their own room with a toilet and sink, which is so accommodating.

Our next activity was feeding the goats, which the kids absolutely LOVED. You can buy feed for $1 and a little goes a long way with these guys! The grain box was next, and all the kids loved taking the time to be buried in the corn!

We finished the day with the rolling tubes! This one was a good workout for the parents too! We left with one child crying because he didn’t want to leave and was having too much fun!
We so loved our time at Leeds and would even go back another time this season. There is SO much to do, it’s hard to fit it all in during one trip (we definitely want to do the hayride next time!!) The staff makes it a special place by truly loving what they do! You should start planning your trip to Leeds right now! It’s the best for fall fun!
