If you are anything like me some days you might want something sweet for breakfast and some days something salty. Below you’ll find recipes for savory and sweet options that are healthy, low in calories and will fill you up in no time.
Banana cacao cranberry muffins
2 Eggs or 1 egg and egg whites
1 Banana Mashed
1 cup steel cut oats
Anise seed
Cacao Nibs
Cranberries
Spray with grapeseed oil your muffin pans. Mix ingredients together and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Feel free to add cinnamon, nuts etc.
Egg muffins
3 whole eggs and 1/2 cup of egg whites
1 shallot
Sweet red pepper
Power Greens
Feta cheese
Salt and pepper
Spray with grapeseed or any other low-fat oil your muffin pan. Chop veggies and mix your eggs. Fill the muffin pan and sprinkle with feta, salt and pepper. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Calories are about 60 per muffin.
