It is back to school season! So it is time to hit up the stores and score some good deals on Sales Tax Holiday Weekend starting August 3rd-5th. One necessity all kids will need are a great pair of shoes to get them through the year. Thanks to Lucky Shoes for sponsoring this post and providing a great shoe shopping experience.
My kids go through shoes like crazy! I don’t know how little humans beat those things up so much. When I go hunting for shoes, I try to keep in mind 3 things when shopping for shoes:
- Style (I want shoes that can be worn with multiple style outfits so I get the most out of them)
- Kid Flare (the kids have got to like the designs or you know it will be a battle every day to wear them)
It has been a long time since I got my 4-year-old girls shoes fitted and feet sized appropriately. I mean a very long time. The girls have been complaining about their old shoes hurting the backs of their heels so I made a trip over to Lucky Shoes Stores at Easton (next to Trader Joes).
I visited the Easton location and had the most wonderful experience. Carol, the store manager, was just amazing with my picky twins. She took the time to talk with them and found out their favorite colors and what kind of styles interested them. The store has so many options. They carry some amazing brands and shoes of every style. Also, for those with dress codes, they carry a great variety of solid black and brown shoes to meet dress code requirements.
In total, we were there for around 25 minutes to be sized and pick out shoes. I really enjoyed the personal shopping aspect the store provided. I was there with my twins and my 8-month-old. The personal shopper made going solo with 3 kids actually possible to achieve. She was my second set of hands that I needed when out with 3 kids under the age of 4.
Overall, we ended up with an adorable glittery pair of StrideRite shoes. They met the comfort, style and flare requirements! We found the most perfect pair of back to school shoes.
Happy back to school shopping!
