It’s July! Already?! Even with than pandemic and changes, it feels like summer is going too fast! They always say that July 4th is the halfway point of summer, but we have lots of fun activities left to do!

Outdoor July Activities
- Drive-In Movies make for a fun family night out.
- With many pools closed this summer, cool off by heading to one of these Ohio beaches.
- The shaded playgrounds have things such as large trees, tent covers, and some with buildings nearby to pop in and cool off.

Lights of Liberty is a drive-thru digital light show from Butch Bando’s Fantasy of Lights where you tune into a specific radio station to watch a light show synchronized to Patriotic music. The cost is $10 per vehicle and takes place at Westerville Athletic Complex.

Fair Food in Dublin will be in the parking lot of Big Sandy Superstore. They will be open from 12 pm – 8 pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

4th of July Social Distance Parades– Choose from 80 characters and mascots from Paulette’s Princess Parties for a parade, singing, dancing and more.

The theme for this Friday Night in Uptown Marysville will be Rock the Block. Music will be performed by Madrigal. The event takes place at Partners Park from 6 pm – 10 pm.
Head to Green Lawn Abbey for Movies Under the Stars. The picnic starts at 8 pm, cartoons at dusk and the movie (“Laura”) at dark around 9:15 pm. There will be a food truck. Don’t forget chairs and blankets.

Hallmark Christmas in July movies will be airing.

The Westerville Music and Arts Festival will be virtual.
The FLIP’s9th Annual Darby Creek Trail Run will be virtual this year.
Head to Delaware County Fairgrounds for the Handmade & Repurposed Market from 10 am – 2 pm. In addition to the market, there will be food trucks, Magic Nate doing socially distanced street performances throughout the day and 104.9 The River will be visiting from 12 pm – 2pm with music and goodies.

Delaware County EMS presents The 2020 Big Truck REVERSE Parade. This will be a socially-distance drive through of vehicles displayed for all to enjoy. Canned-food donations will be accepted from your car trunk for People in Need of Delaware County. This event is from 9 am – 11 am at Buckeye Valley Middle School & High School- 901 Coover Road.
From 12 pm to 10 pm the Cultural Fusion Festival will take place at Helsel Park.

It’s Christmas in July at Center Street Market in Hilliard. Vendors will be getting into the Christmas spirit and have fun themes planned. Bring a new unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots and receive 10% off a vendor of your choice at the market.
From 5 pm to 9 pm the streets along Grandview Avenue between 1st and 5th Avenues will be closed for The Grandview Hop. There will be live music, local shopping, art, food and more.
