Each year our family looks forward to the tradition of seeing as many Christmas light displays as we can. This year seeing Christmas Lights will be a wonderful way to enjoy the beauty of the season! Here’s a list of Holiday Light Displays Around Columbus (and beyond) that you don’t want to miss!

Holiday Light Displays Around Columbus
WonderLight’s Christmas in Ohio
Dates: November 10, 2023 – December 31, 2023 (5:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.) rain, shine or snow!

Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
Dates: Thursday, November 16, 2023 (Member Preview Night)- January 7, 2024 (closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas)

Butch Bando’s Fantasy of Lights
Dates: November 17, 2023 – January 1, 2024
Location: Alum Creek State Park Campgrounds (3311 South Old State Rd., Delaware, Ohio 43015)
Details: Stay warm and toasty in your car as you travel through this drive-thru light show spectacular. The Santa House will be running this year with photo options available!

Easton Town Center Holiday Light Display
Dates: November 17, 2023 is the first date for the tree to be lit, but lights remain throughout the holiday season.

Details: Kick off the holiday season… the Easton way! Festivities will begin at 6 PM, with the holiday lights turning on everywhere around Easton at 7 PM.

Conservatory Aglow at the Franklin Park Conservatory
Date: November 19, 2023 – January 7, 2024
Location: Franklin Park Conservatory
Details: Conservatory Aglow returns for the biggest and brightest holiday show in the history of the Conservatory, extending beyond the building and into The Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation Children’s Garden as well as the Grand Mallway. Winter Wonderland at Creekside Park
Dates: Begins November 19, 2023 through January 8, 2023

Flying Horse Farms
Details: A free seasonal drive-through light display will be set up. Camp buildings will be transformed into a twinkling, musical wonderland of safe, physically distanced family fun.

Inniswood Illuminated
Dates: Check back for 2023 dates!
Location: Inniswood Metro Gardens
Details: There are seasonal lights outside near the Herb Garden and a disco ball in the spruce forest. Walk around the gardens until 8 pm each night. That’s a great way to get in a walk and enjoy the beauty!
Metro Parks
Locations: See above for the details for Inniswood Metro Gardens. In addition light displays have been added to Blacklick Woods, Highbanks, Homestead and Scioto Grove Metro parks. The lights will be on from 5-8 pm.
Segaway Holiday Lights Tour
Dates: December 1st – December 23, 2023
Location: Begin at The Greater Columbus Convention Center (400 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215)
Details: Listen to holiday music and look at the lights as you glide around Columbus on a segway.

State Auto’s Christmas Corner
Dates: The first concert will be on December 7, 2023.

Neighborhoods and Houses with the Best Christmas Lights
Lights of Glenross
Times: The show now runs daily from Thanksgiving until right after the New Year!
Location: Delaware, Ohio between US 23 and South Old State Road
Details: Over 300 houses it will be choreographed to Christmas music! Tune to 94.1 FM to listen and enjoy.

Lucy Depp Park Light Show
Dates/Times: Runs Sunday-Thursday from 4-10 p.m. and Friday-Saturday from 4-11 p.m. (until the first week of January, 2024). The first night is Black Friday in 2023!

Dazzling Christmas Lights First Night
Location: 649 Old Coach Road Westerville, Ohio 43081
Details: 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. The display is one house with over 100,000 Dazzling Christmas Lights that dance to music. Tune your car radio to 90.1 FM. and bring can food items. The display runs November 24, 2023 to January 2, 2023. Sunday-Thursday 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. This is a free event all season long. They are collecting canned foods for Warm again this year. Santa’s mailbox will also be out front and you can include a return address for a reply!

Fields Family Christmas Lights
Location: Pickerington
Details: This is the 7th year for this light display and every year it gets bigger and bigger. Runs nightly from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day. Sunday-Thursday 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Friday-Saturday 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Gibbswold Light Display

Details: Located in Butler Farms in Obetz this dazzling show begins nightly at 7 pm.
Lewis Center
Location: 5362 Polor Drive, Lewis Center
Details: Tune to 88.3 FM for the music.
Upper Arlington
Location: 4460 Reed Road
Details: Tune to 96.5 FM and enjoy the sounds of the season.
Grove City
Location: 2013 Bellflower Court, Grove City
Details: Many of the light displays on this house are homemade. There’s even a lighted Elf on the Shelf that moves nightly. This couple loves spreading joy and bringing happiness to others. The neighbors on Bellflower Court do a nice job as well.

Details: Tune to 93.9 FM to listen. There’s also a Santa Mailbox in the front for kids to leave a letter.

Dublin (Sawmill area)
Location: 2691 Sawmill Meadows Ave
Details: This house goes all out at Halloween so of course they do it up for Christmas. There are different songs synchronized to lights so it’s fun to stay and watch a few songs play through. The lights even change colors.

Details: From 6-9 pm each night through New Years, there will be a rotating 3-song show running every 30 minutes.

- Many holiday light displays are a bit of a drive, but well worth it!
The Legendary Lights of Clifton Mill
Dates: Starts the day after Thanksgiving and continues through December 31. (Closes at 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve.)
Location: Clifton Mill (75 Water Street, Clifton, Ohio)
Details: You will be in awe as you watch the musical twinkling light show along the gorge. There’s also a miniature village for model trains, a Santa Claus Museum with a wide variety of trinkets dating back to the 1800’s and a restaurant.

Details: 1 million lights are set to synchronized holiday music. Besides the lights, you’ll find a bakery, 6 shops, pictures with Santa, and train & wagon rides.

Winterfest at Kings Island
- Located North of Cincinnati
Dates: Select nights November 24- December 31, 2023

Details: WinterFest is an unforgettable holiday experience where Kings Island transforms into 11 enchanting winter wonderlands. Voted in 2021 as one of the top Theme Park Holiday Events in the country by USA TODAY readers, the annual event features ice skating on the Royal Fountain, the Eiffel Tower turned into a magical Christmas tree, the WinterFest Wonderland Parade, more than five million lights and live entertainment throughout the park. Roscoe Christmas
- Located in Coshocton
Dates: December 2, 2023 and December 9, 2023
Location: Roscoe Village (600 N. Whitewoman St., Coshocton, OH 43812)
Details: Daytime activities include strolling carolers, Santa, horse-drawn carriage rides and other festivities. In the evening, there’s the Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

Christmas at Kingwood
- Located in Mansfield, Ohio
Dates: November 26, 2023- January 2, 2024
Location: Kingwood Center Gardens (50 N. Trimble Rd. • Mansfield, Ohio 44906)
Details: The rooms of Kingwood Hall are decorated to depict various Christmas carols. Outside you’ll find thousands of lights. Fun holiday light display!

Dickens Victorian Village: Courthouse Light Show
- Located in Cambridge, Ohio
Dates: November 1, 2023 – December 31, 2023
Location: Guernsey County Courthouse lawn, Wheeling Avenue
Details: The historic courthouse comes alive with an interactive light and sound show. Cambridge is such a charming city. After, take a stroll and see various life-size, hand-crafted mannequins that are arranged along Wheeling Avenue. Read more here about Dickens Victorian Village.

White Gravel Mines: Christmas Caves
- Located in Minford, Ohio
Dates: Open every Friday and Saturday this Christmas season from 4-10 pm. The Mine gate will open starting at 4pm with the gates closing at 10pm. Specific dates for 2023: November 17 and 18, November 25-26, December 2 and 3, December 9 and 10, December 16 and 17!
Details: This is a self-guided light display underground through caves. There are twinkling lights, Christmas music and Biblical scenes. Admission is free but a $1 donation per person is appreciated. Check out the FAQ on their website for more details.

Ashtabula County’s Lights On The Lake
- Located up north on Lake Erie
Dates: Friday – Sunday on November 24, 2023 – December 31, 2023 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. Special hours are December 24, 25, 31 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
Details: 70 different light displays are set up along the rolling hills and lake backdrop. Admission is $5 per car donation

Upper’s Winter Fantasy of Lights
- Located in Upper Sandusky
Dates: December 1 – December 30, 2023
Details: Volunteers put millions of lights in this 33 acre park that you drive through.

Oglebay: Winter Festival of Lights
- Located in West Virginia (120 miles from Columbus)
Dates: November 9, 2023 – January 9, 2024
Location: 465 Lodge Drive Wheeling, West Virginia
Details: This is one of the nation’s largest holiday light displays, covering more than 300 acres over a 6-mile drive throughout Oglebay! The Winter Festival of Lights is viewable Sunday through Thursday until 10:00 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday until 11:00 p.m. A per car donation is requested and is valid for the entire festival season. Trolley tours are offered several times each night beginning at Wilson Lodge. Saturdays are very popular nights to visit. Long lines and wait times should be expected.

Santa Claus, Indiana
- Located about 4 hours from Columbus is a town named Santa Claus.
Dates: Festivities kick-off Thanksgiving weekend and continue the first three weekends of December.
Details: There are a lot of different things happening in and around this area. This EVENT GUIDE will give you the details on the times and pricing (some things are free) for the jolly activities such as Santa visits, live reindeer, parade, fireworks, shopping and more.

Butch Bando’s Fantasy of Lights is a drive-through light show. You stay in your car the entire time. They have even more displays this year and it is great! Also, close to there is the neighborhood Glenross which you can drive through before or after.
